Reena and I were both born and raised in Chicago and we love to explore the city's rich history and culture. We both have been dating for over a year and wanted to do something together to build our relationship and really share our passion for adventure. When we heard about City Chase, we jumped at the chance to compete in the city we both love. City Chase was an amazing way to challenge ourselves and really test our limits and think outside the box. We really complimented each other and found that we were great at different things and were able to work well together to complete the various challenges. We will never forget the memories we shared and experienced. Everyone we met, from the participants to volunteers to random people on the street, were very open and friendly and were eager to help in any way they could.
Throughout the event, it seemed that the chasepoints became more and more exciting as we progressed throughout the day, from kayaking down the Chicago River to Strip Bowling to text-message Taboo. We absolutely loved the unpredictability factor which made us think quickly on our feet. We wish we had more time to complete all of the challenges. We will definitely be participating in this event again next year!
We are honored to be finalists but we want to continue our adventure and have the chance to go to Nationals to really showcase our talent at capturing the exciting moments of the National City Chase competition. Given the opportunity to go to Nationals, we would truly capture the heart and essence of the race: the amazing contestants that make it all happen. Please vote for us. The chase is on!
