Maude Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085 (the "Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes starts at 12:00:01 AM Pacific Daylight Time ("PDT") on July 22, 2008 and closes at 11:59:59 PM PDT on September 30, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period").
ELIGIBILITY: The "City Chase Palm Adventure – Centro Says" Weekly Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 21 years old, and are a City Chase Event Participant at the time of entry. For more information on the City Chase Event visit www.citychase.com. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies or agents, their respective advertising or promotional agencies, and the independent judging organization (collectively, the "Promotion Entities") or members of any such employee's immediate family (regardless of where they live) or persons with whom they are domiciled (whether related or not) are ineligible to enter. In these Official Rules, "immediate family" includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse.
HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES:
A. Method #1: Visit www.citychasepalmadv.com (the "Website") and you will be taken to the Sweepstakes Landing Page where you will be given the opportunity to play both i) Find the Centro to Play, and ii) Centro Says. You must successfully complete both games to proceed to the entry form and to receive an entry into the Sweepstakes
How to play "Find the Centro to Play": Using your mouse, drag the magnifying glass around the screen until you find the Palm Centro. Once you have located the Palm Centro, click on it and you will be directed to the game "Centro Says".
How to play "Centro Says": There are six (6) rounds to "Centro Says".
- Round One: The Palm Centro will highlight one (1) of four (4) colored buttons on the screen, in sequence. Using your mouse, click the same sequence the colors pop up on the screen. If your order of sequence is correct you will be taken to Round Two. If your order of Sequence is incorrect, a window will pop up on the screen giving you the opportunity to try again.
- Round Two: The Palm Centro will highlight two (2) colors on the screen, in sequence. Using your mouse, click the same sequence the colors pop up on the screen. If your order of sequence is correct you will be taken to Round Three. If your order of Sequence is incorrect, a window will pop up on the screen giving you the opportunity to try again.
- Round Three: The Palm Centro will highlight three (3) colors on the screen, in sequence. Using your mouse, click the same sequence the colors pop up on the screen. If your order of sequence is correct you will be taken to Round Four. If your order of sequence is incorrect, a window will pop up on the screen giving you the opportunity to try again.
- Round Four: The Palm Centro will highlight four (4) colors on the screen, in sequence. Using your mouse, click the same sequence the colors pop up on the screen. If your order of sequence is correct you will be taken to Round Five. If your order of sequence is incorrect, a window will pop up on the screen giving you the opportunity to try again.
- Round Five: The Palm Centro will highlight five (5) colors on the screen, in sequence. Using your mouse, click the same sequence the colors pop up on the screen. If your order of sequence is correct you will be taken to Round 6. If your order of sequence is incorrect, a window will pop up on the screen giving you the opportunity to try again.
- Round Six: The Palm Centro will highlight six (6) colors on the screen, in sequence. Using your mouse, click the same sequence the colors pop up on the screen. If your order of sequence is correct you will be directed to the entry form page to complete your sweepstakes registration. If your order of sequence is incorrect, a window will pop up on the screen giving you the opportunity to try again.
Upon successful completion of "Find the Centro" and all (6) six rounds in "Centro Says", follow the instructions to complete the Entry Form by entering a valid email address, City Chase Participating Event City Location, BIB number, full name, and confirm that you agree to the rules and regulations and click the "submit" icon at the bottom of the screen. Upon doing so, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding entries, an entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, provided that person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
B. Method #2: No purchase necessary: To enter without purchasing an entry into a City Chase event hand print your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers and the words "City Chase Palm Adventure Centro Says Contest" on a 4" x 5" card and mail it in a postage pre-paid stamped envelope to "City Chase Palm Adventure Centro Says Contest", Palm, Inc., 950 W. Maude Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085 Attention: Sejal Mistry. No mechanical reproductions of entries allowed.
Limit of one (1) entry per person and/or email address and/or BIB number per week, maximum twelve (12) entries during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Limit one entry per outer postmarked envelope.
WEEKLY PRIZES: There will be one (1) Prize to be awarded each Weekly Sweepstakes Period as described in Rule #5. Each Weekly Prize will consist of an Unlocked Palm® Centro Smartphone (no service provided). Approximate retail value of each Weekly Prize is $399.49 US. Weekly Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Weekly Prizes may not be transferred and are not convertible to cash. The Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Weekly Prize in whole or in part in the event that a Weekly Prize is unavailable. The ARV of any electronic prize is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. If the actual purchase price of an electronic prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference.

WEEKLY PRIZE DRAWS: Weekly Draws will be held on the following dates: on July 30, 2008 for Week 1, August 6, 2008 for Week 2, August 13, 2008 for Week 3, August 20, 2008 for Week 4, August 27, 2008 for Week 5, September 3, 2008 for Week 6, September 10, 2008 for Week 7, September 17, 2008 for Week 8, September 24, 2008 for Week 9, and October 3, 2008 for Week 10. Each Weekly Prize draw will be conducted by the independent judging organization from among all eligible entries received during the relevant Weekly Sweepstakes Period. The odds of winning a Weekly Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the Weekly Sweepstakes Period. If for any reason there are no entries for a particular Weekly Sweepstakes Period, the Weekly Prize for that week will not be awarded. Non-winning Weekly Draw entries WILL NOT roll over into subsequent Weekly Draws. Limit of one (1) Weekly Prize per person.
CONTACTING WEEKLY PRIZE WINNERS: Potential Weekly Prize winners will be notified by telephone and/or mail and/or email at the Sponsor's discretion using the contact information provided at the time of entry. The Sponsor shall have no liability if the winner notification is lost, intercepted or not received by the potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, the potential winner does not respond within three (3) business days of the first notification attempt (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to the potential winner, the potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected. If the potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor will successively attempt to contact up to five (5) potential winners of the prize in accordance with such procedure, and if there is still no confirmed winner of the prize in question after such attempts have been made, the prize may go unawarded.
GENERAL: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the independent judging organization with respect to all aspects of the Sweepstakes, which are final.
GENERAL LIABILITY RELEASE/FORCE MAJEURE: Entrants agree that the Promotion Entities (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or from entrants' acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (B) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize's quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Promotion Entities assume no responsibility for any damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer system or wireless phone which is occasioned by accessing the Website or otherwise participating in the Sweepstakes, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged, stolen, or postage-due submissions or prize notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Website, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor's control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis (e.g., SARS), order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor's control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant's sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
Winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on his/her prize.
By entering and/or accepting the Prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and state) and/or photograph without further compensation, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this Sweepstakes, except where such requirement is prohibited by law. By entering and/or accepting the Prize, entrants agree that the Sweepstakes shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict of law rules. The Superior Court of the County of Santa Clara or the United States District Court for the Northern District of California shall have jurisdiction and venue over all controversies arising out of, or relating to, the Sweepstakes.
All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected potential winners. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

The Sponsor respects your right to privacy. Personal information collected from entrants will only be used by the Sponsor to administer the Sweepstakes and, only if consent is given at the time of entry, to provide the entrants with information regarding upcoming promotions and/or events from the Sponsor. If entrants provide consent when entering the Contest entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in the Sponsors' privacy policy, which is available at www.palm.com/us/company/privacy.html
